French Polishing

Traditional French Polishing using shellac and linseed oil to reproduce and authentic finish for antique and period furniture. Whilst not as durable as modern lacquer finishes French Polishing has the advantages of being easier to repair and can usually be repaired on site. Available in high gloss or satin finish.

Lacquer Finishes

Modern lacquer finishes including 2 pack are available in matt satin or high gloss and have the advantage of long term durability including resistance to substances such as nail varnish remover and alcohol as well as heat and wear resistance making it ideal for heavily trafficked furniture such as table tops.

Furniture Repairs

We specialise in the repair of broken or loose chairs and other furnishings using the best epoxy glues as well as reproducing missing parts.
